Gary L. Hubbard

Gary Hubbard of Rockford, IL passed away peacefully at home with hospice care. Gary was raised in Cedar Falls, IA. He married his love, Sharon, and together they spent 35 wonderful years together.

Gary obtained his Bachelors Degree from the University of Iowa and went on to get his Masters Degree from Northern Illinois University. He worked as a professional counselor for many years and retired in 2018.

Gary was very creative at woodworking and founded the Northern Illinois Woodturners Club. He was also an avid cyclist and part of the Rock River Riders Group.

The family would like to especially thank Heartland Hospice Care providers. They not only have professional expertise, but were also very kind and caring.

Survived by his wife, Sharon; two children; two grandchildren; and one sister. Predeceased by his parents and a son.
