Franklin “Frank” P. Moline, 65, of Roscoe, IL, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025. He was born on August 20, 1960, in Portsmouth, VA, the son of Donald E. and Joyce A. (Kamrar) Moline. As the son of a U.S. Marine, Frank and his family moved every couple of years. In 1974, the family finally settled in Rockford. He graduated from East High School in 1978 and immediately secured a job at UPS, where he remained for 47 years, retiring in September of 2025. He owned and operated R & F Siding for many years.
Frank had a work-hard, play-hard mentality. He was a huge car enthusiast and attended many local car shows throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. His hardest decision was deciding which car to drive to each show. He enjoyed fishing in Canada and snowmobiling up north. During holidays, he could always be found napping on the floor until dinner.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Moline; siblings, Mary (Kurtis) Baraconi, Donald (Yolanda) Moline Jr., and Jennifer (Scott) Kinison; his niece, Elizabeth (James) Martin; his nephew, Joseph (Shannon) Baraconi; great-niece, Zorah Martin; and his great-nephew, Jensen Martin. Frank also leaves behind his close companion, Julie Thompson, and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Moline.
Frank meant a lot to a lot of people, and his passing will be felt for a while.
Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, with a visitation from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe, IL 61073.
