Frank “Pete” McReynolds, 96, of Roscoe, IL passed away on April 17, 2025, with family by his side. Born in South Beloit, IL on February 20, 1929, to his parents, Frank and Mary (Barnes) McReynolds. Pete married Eleanor Harkins on October 11, 1952, and they spent many wonderful years together.
Pete served in the United States Army as Military Police in Korea during the war. Pete worked as a truck driver for his whole life until retirement. He was a lifelong Mason, Tebala Shriner, Scottish York Rite, Eastern Star, and White Shrine. He was very proud of his accomplishments.
The family would like to give special thanks and recognition to TLC and Amberwood Care Center for the care they gave Pete over the last few years of his life.
Survived by his children, Trudy (Dan) Volden and Dale (Shelley) McReynolds; grandchildren, Curt (Jessica) McReynolds, Ryan (Cortnee) McReynolds, and Brandon Swenson; great-grandchildren, Abbigal, Nolan, Logan, Bentley, Brady, Ezra, Oliver, and Audra; nieces, nephews, and special friends, Kayla and Paul McClethen, Marilee McClethen, Niki Chadwick, Frank Long, and Lari. Predeceased by his wife, Eleanor McReynolds; parents, Frank and Mary McReynolds; brother, Floyd Long.
