Esteele V. Borchardt

Esteele V. Borchardt, 97, of Rockford, went to be with her Lord on April 4, 2021. She was born in Stockton, IL on March 7, 1924 the daughter of Pastor Ernest and Maude Larrabee. She married Ralph Borchardt on October 18, 1945 in Hoopeston, IL with her father officiating. Esteele lived in the Rockford area and attended Ridgeview Chapel many years where her husband was the leader in the fellowship. Esteele learned to play the piano at an early age. She played at church throughout her early years and later at Ridgeview Chapel where her husband officiated. She always had a full house with the smell and warmth of a burning fire. There was always good food, homemade pies and ice cream and fudge. She was known to make homemade donuts and invite the neighbors over the coffee.

Survivors include her two daughters, Sharon (Dennis) Elrick and Janice (Mike) Brees; grandson, Chad (Dawn) Anderson; granddaughter, Britteny (Cole) Winsett; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Predeceased by husband, Ralph and son, Mark.

Her greatest joy was knowing her Savior, Jesus Christ. She served Him with music and hospitality. She will now join Him for eternity in his Kingdom. God Rest her soul. 

A private family graveside service will be held.
