Duane Roy Hermanson

Duane Roy Hermanson, 90, of Roscoe, IL, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford, IL. Duane was born on July 5, 1935, in Black River Falls, WI, the son of Clarence and Arvilla Hermanson.

Duane dedicated many years of his working life to Chrysler, where he was employed until his retirement in May of 1996. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, where he worked as an aircraft mechanic. Duane will be remembered for his strong work ethic, dedication to his family, and his service to his country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Hermanson; his son, David (Lisa) Hermanson; his daughters, Nancy Carey and DeAnn (Todd) Knight; and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers and sister; and his son, Jim Kupietz.

Cremation rites have been performed.
