Donavon J. Hamilton

Donavon J. Hamilton, 29, of Waukegan, IL passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. He was born in Evanston, IL on July 27, 1993 to Patrick and Ann Hamilton.  He attended Belvidere North High School for three years and later received his GED.  He was employed at Sander Energy LLC for three years, Bop N Grill for two years and plenty of other restaurants previously.

Donavon enjoyed spending time with his family and kids and being outside, spending time with friends, laughing and making others laugh, story telling and cooking.

He is survived by his children, Kayleb James Hamilton and Liam Hamilton; his mother, Ann Hamilton; nephew, Damien Alexander Stauss; nieces, Lavaeh Rosetta Lynn Rascoe and Sydney Alstrom; sisters, Erin Hamilton, Keriann Hamilton and Marykate Hamilton; a grandmother; and dozens of cousins, aunts and uncles.  He is predeceased by his father, Patrick Hamilton and aunt, Barbara Hansen.   

Memorial service will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 27, 2023, in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory - Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park. Memorial visitation will be from 2:00 PM until the time of services.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
