Dolores Miller, 79, of Harvard, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at River Crossing of Rockford after battling progressive supranuclear palsy. She was born October 22, 1942, to Harold and Eylene (Haskins) Drew in Adams County, Wisconsin. She married Dennis Miller on June 20, 1965, in Walworth, Wisconsin. They made their home in Peoria, Illinois, until 2010, when they retired to Harvard. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Peoria, and later of Calvary Community Church of Williams Bay, Wisconsin.
Dolores is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dennis; daughters, Debra (Dennis) Rude of Metamora and DeAnna (Tim) Hutton of Peoria; son, Dean (Beth) Miller of Lindenhurst; grandchildren, Craig Rude, Carolyn (Luke) Retzloff, Ryan (Lindsey) Hutton, Robert Hutton, Caleb Miller, and Emma Miller; siblings, Darold Drew, Marie Mohrbacher, Laura Pedersen, Marion Cronin, and Margaret (Dan) Nevala; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Flossie Preston, and her twin sister, Dorothy Ahrens.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Calvary Community Church, Highway 50 and Harris Road in Williams Bay, Wisconsin 53147, with her Celebration of Life service to follow at 11:00 a.m. A gravesite interment service will be scheduled at Swan Lake Cemetery in Peoria, Ilinois, at a later date.
