Dianne L. Wilke, 67, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully at home on August 12, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on June 6, 1958, in Rockford, she was the beloved daughter of Donald and Darlene (Mumma) Pace. A 1977 graduate of Jefferson High School, Dianne met the love of her life, Charles Wilke, at a singles dance at The Hoffman House. They married on November 30, 1991, and shared 33 wonderful years together.
Dianne devoted 34 years of service as an assembler at Barber Colman, where her dedication and quiet strength left a lasting impression. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—cooking and baking with love, decorating her home with care, and exploring new places alongside her husband. A lifelong animal lover, Dianne had a special bond with her dogs, who brought her great comfort and joy. She will be remembered for her warmth, her creativity, and the deep love she had for her family and friends. Her spirit, kindness, and gentle heart touched all who knew her.
Dianne is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Wilke; her cherished daughter, Jacquelyn (Jeff) Hall; and her beloved granddaughter, Jorja. She is also survived by her sister, Denise (Greg) Painter; her nieces and nephews, Jason (Corinne) Painter, Nate Painter, David (Nichol) Pace, and Ashley Pace; and great nephews, Alex Pace, Parker Pace, Easton Pace, and Harrison Painter, . She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Darlene Pace; and her brother, David Pace.
