Dianeta "Janet" Aguilar Eslana

Dianeta Aguilar Eslana, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, entered peacefully into rest on March 21, 2025 at the age of 72 in Rockford, IL. She was born on December 16, 1952 in Manapla, Philippines to Delfin Aguilar and Rosalina Barientos. Known for her warmth, kindness, strength, she leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.

Dianeta or Janet as what her family and friends call her was a devoted wife to husband, Ludovico and children, Lodgien, Ludivico, Lemuel, Eric, Jayllord, Joyllord and Jetson. A cherished grandmother to Lochelle, Cheska and Myelle. 

She always put her family first, she loved spending time with her family and friends especially with grandchildren. Janet truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family. She also found joy in traveling with family, watching her favorite show on TFC and loved singing in karaoke.

Janet graduated college at Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod, Philippines. She worked part-time and decided to become a full-time housewife and hands-on mother.

She was predeceased by her parents, Delfin and Rosalina; her siblings, Patricia, Carmelina, Buloy, Morito; and two children, Ludivico and Lemuel. She will be greatly missed by her family, especially her husband, five children and her three granddaughters along with countless friends who felt her warmth and affability.

Service will be at 6:00 PM on  Wednesday, March 26, 2025 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111 with a visitation from 3:00 PM until the time of the service.
