Diane Kay (Pederson) Lignell

Diane Kay (Pederson) Lignell, 79, of Rockford, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020. She was born February 2, 1941 in Morris, MN, the daughter of Earl and Eleanor (LaVassor) Pederson. A graduate of Argyle High School, class of 1959. She married Charles A. Lignell in Argyle. Wisconsin on May 28, 1961. They had three children, Deborah A., Daniel A. and David A. Diane worked at Park More Drive-in, 1st National Bank, Rockford Board of Education, Avoco Oil and Parent Petroleum. Diane enjoyed crosswords and watching Nascar on TV and her sons race at Rockford Speedway. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing and bird watching. 

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah (Bruce) Griffin; sons, Daniel (Cheryl) Lignell and David Lignell; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Charles; parents and brother, Bruce Pederson. 

A celebration of life and a private family graveside service will be held in Argyle, Wisconsin at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
