Delores Dawson

Delores Dawson, 92, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026. She was born in Tellico Plains, TN on May 18, 1933.  She married Kenneth Dawson on September 21, 1951 in Sweetwater, TN and they raised four children, Vickie, Richard, Michael and Daniel.  Predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; and daughter, Vickie.

Delores was a working woman and a homemaker.  She made bandages for the Korean War at Burson Knitting, hardware at Amerock and finished her working career at Camcar making fasteners.  In 1997 she retired and became Granny.

She had nine grandchildren, Eric, Tish, Kimberly, Derrick, Michael Jr., Jeffery, Jason, Natoshia, and Daniel Jr., and lived long enough to see her many great-grandchildren.

A private family service was held.
