Deborah K. Mooney

Deborah "Debbie" K. Mooney, 76, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 22, 2024.  She was born (and raised) in Riverside, California on June 8, 1948.  She married James Mooney in 1979 in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She attended the University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener Program and created beautiful gardens.  She loved animals and her family.  

She is survived by her husband, Jim Mooney; children, Ryan Soltess, Michael Mooney and Kristina (Mooney) Marchetti; grandchild, Luciano Marchetti; and pet Yorkies, Henry and Leroy Brown.  She is predeceased by her parents, William "Bill"  and Virginia "Ginny" Johnson; and brother, Steve Johnson.

A private family service will be held in Minnesota.
