Dawn Rose Nerio of Roscoe, IL passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on November 11, 2024. Dawn was born in Monroe, WI on December 4, 1944, to her parents, Walter and Rosie (Pinnow) Bliss. She graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1963. She retired in 2013 after a long career as a secretary in Arlington, TX. Dawn enjoyed sewing, gardening, bargain and thrift shopping, and traveling to Tahiti. She will be dearly missed by so many.
She is survived by her children, Denese Hagan and David (Siobain) Daughenbaugh; grandchildren, Nicole (Josh) Zawislak, Dustin Hagan, Shawna (Kyle) Wigget, and Austin (Hannah) Daughenbaugh; great-grandchildren, David and Harper Hagan, Graysen and Gage Wigget, and Jordan and Zach Zawislak; sister, Diana (Ken) Lewis; brothers, David (Debra) Bliss and Dennis (Diane) Bliss; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Walter and Rosie Bliss; husband, Joe Nerio; son-in-law, Dwight Hagan.
