David W. Sullivan, 72, of Roscoe, IL, died at home on Monday, February 10, 2025 after a long illness. He was born on June 17, 1952 in Attleboro, Massachusetts. He was a 1970 graduate of Oliver Ames High School in Easton, MA. He worked at Eclipse in Rockford for almost 30 years. He enjoyed the blues, Sudoku, and never gave up hoping for a big lottery win. He was a volunteer for the Roscoe Fire Department and a record American Red Cross blood donor until his illness forced him to stop.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Coven, Caitlyn, Maeble, Jaylin, Evan and Jaycee; great-grandchildren, William Joseph Sullivan, Alejandro Ezekiel Miller II, and Aleaseya Johanna Miller; sister, Andrea (Sullivan) Cady; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his son, William; daughter, Johanna; parents, William and Elsa; and sister, Jane.
Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, February 16, 2025 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe, IL 61073.
