David E. Jarvis

David Edward Jarvis, 75, of Machesney Park passed away March 9, 2023.  He was born on April 9, 1947 in Rochester, MN to Laverne A. and Eldora (Ulwelling Potz) Jarvis.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He married Diane Schall on May 23, 1970 and they were married for 40 years before she passed in 2010.  Dave worked at Dasco Pro for 15+ years in maintenance and Rosati's Pizza part-time for 10+ years delivering pizzas.  He enjoyed glass blowing and would often attend craft shows with his work.  He liked to dance at the VFW with his girlfriend Daisy and enjoyed going to casinos.

Survived by his daughter, Jamie (Richard) Jeter; grandson, Richard "Richie" Jeter, III; and many cousins in Minnesota.  After losing his wife, he found a new love with Daisy Reese and her family, sons, John (Jenny) Reese and Justin (Pamela) Reese. Predeceased by his parents; wife, Diane; uncle, Donald J. (Gertrude) Ulwelling.  

Service will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
