David S. Calvert

David Scott Calvert, 57, of Cherry Valley passed away September 22, 2024. Born on April 28, 1967 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of David and Cheryl (Montgomery) Calvert. David graduated from Jefferson High School and was an Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the IBEW Local 196. He loved sports, the Bears, Blackhawks, and Chicago Bulls, but especially the Chicago Cubs. He enjoyed watching the Cubs and was a season ticket holder. Dave enjoyed hunting with his dad, brothers and nephews. He loved his J-Hawks and longtime friends.

David is survived by his parents, David L. and Cheryl Calvert; children, Payton Ann and Dawson David Calvert; brothers, Erik (Michelle) Calvert and Shane (Rian) Calvert; niece, Ciara Calvert and nephews, Brady, Trace and Sage Calvert. Predeceased by his grandparents, Gordon and Ethel Montgomery and Ira and Alva Calvert.

Service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 6, 2024 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, with a visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
