Danny D. Beghtel

Danny Dean Beghtel, 60, of Rockford, IL passed away on February 24, 2023 at his home.

Danny is survived by his children, Gage, Cam, and Gabriella; his brothers, Craig, Scott, Allan, Bobby, Brent, Cory, and Adam; his mother, Dora Livingston; his stepfather, Bill Livingston; and his father, Donald Beghtel.

Danny was born in Rockford, IL on February 9, 1963 to Dora Livingston and Donald Beghtel. He had a passion for cooking and was a chef at City Club in downtown Rockford, as well as Michaels on Perryville for several years. Later on, he became a journeyman for tool and die until retirement.

Danny was a devoted father, son and brother. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with family. He had a love for music and performed with different bands in the area, such as Spad Zoom, Right Mind and Joe Club. He brought laughter into every room and could put a smile on anyone’s face. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 3, 2023 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory - Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park with a visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
