Danielle Rae Livingston–Murillo, 55, of Rockford, IL, went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2025. Born on November 14, 1969, in Rockford, she was the daughter of Holly and Joann (Schiro) Livingston.
Danielle graduated from Auburn High School in the class of 1987. After high school, Danielle enjoyed doing hair. Afterward, she spent most of her life as a homemaker, caring for seven children. She was also a caring wife to her husband, Oscar Murillo, for 24 years.
Her passions included shopping, and playing games, particularly Bingo. Danielle also ran a small business designing beautiful bows, which brought her great joy and allowed her to express her creativity.
She is survived by her husband, Oscar Murillo; children, Adam (Jess) Peterson, Andrew (Jordyn) Peterson, Amanda Peterson, Maximilliano Murillo, Isabelle Murillo, Hannah Murillo, and Gavin Murillo; grandchildren, Makenzi, Ava, Emmett, and Elliott Peterson; brothers, Doug (Kim) Livingston and Derek (Jessica) Livingston; as well as two nieces and three nephews. Danielle was predeceased by her father, Holly Livingston; grandparents, Tony and Alice Schiro and Hollis and Ruth Livingston.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 16, 2025, in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, in St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave., Loves Park, IL 61111, at 10:00 AM, with a visitation starting at 9:00 AM until time of mass. Burial immediately following the mass in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Winnebago, IL.
Danielle will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her loving spirit, warm heart, and dedication to her family will never be forgotten.
