Daniel Donahue Obituary

Daniel M. Donahue, 73, of Rockford passed away March 6, 2025 at home with his wife by his side. He was born on September 25, 1951 in Freeport, IL, the son of Paul and Nancy (Highbarger) Donahue. He married Dawn Bryant. Daniel received his Bachelor's Degree and Master's of Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. He was an attorney in Rockford for over 35 years. He enjoyed being with his wife and listening to classical music.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn; sons, Master Sergeant Devin Donahue and Derek Donahue; granddaughter, Emma Donahue; sister-in-law, Teresa Donahue; brother, Dennis (Beth) Donahue; and six nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Paul and Nancy Donahue; sister, Diane Baker, and brother, Douglas Donahue.
