Dana A. Johnson

Dana A. Johnson, 94, of Rockford, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 11, 1926 in St. Paul, VA to the late Baily and Edna Barker of St. Paul, VA. Dana married Victor "Jack" Johnson in September 1944 and they had five children, Judy, Roger, Kenneth Larry, James "Jim" and Ronald Chuck. 

Survivors include her children, Kenneth Larry Johnson of Rockford, IL, James "Jim" (Bonnie) Johnson of Largo, FL; grandchildren, David Magnuson of Rockford, IL, Rena (Magnuson) Summer of St. Louis, MO, Ronnie Magnuson of Lake St. Louis, MO, Bobby Magnuson of St. Louis, MO, Roger (Elsie) Johnson of McRae, GA, Robert "Robby" (Kelly) Johnson of Cocos, FL, Kimberly Ann (James) Hunsaker, Mary Jane (Kopzac) Warner of Santa Fe, TX, Bryan Johnson of Machesney Park, IL and Jennifer Hudson of Machesney Park, IL; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Victor "Jack" Johnson; children, Judith Ann Magnuson, Roger G. Johnson and Ronald Chuck Johnson. 

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Masks are required and please observe social distancing.
