Constance Jean Nelson, 81, of Roscoe, Illinois, passed away on July 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Connie was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. On August 30, 1963, she married her best friend, Keith Nelson. They had been sweethearts since the 4th grade. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved the pool, the beach, playing golf, and soaking up the sun. Most of all, she loved being with family. She loved with her whole heart. Her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved husband Keith; children Layne (Lori), Chad (Stacey), and Heather (Brad) Danger; grandchildren Maddie, Forrest and McKenna Nelson, Bethany (Parker) Psaltis, and Taylor Danger; sister Bonnie Lorensen; brother Ron (Janet) Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Connie was predeceased by brother Brad Taylor and sister Mary Powell.
A Celebration of Life open house will be held on Sunday, August 23 from 11-2 at Mary’s Market in Roscoe, IL. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories and celebrate Connie’s life.
