Connie J. Bergstadt

Connie J. Bergstadt, 53, of Loves Park, IL, passed away unexpectedly with her husband and dogs by her side on Friday, November 22, 2024.  She married Robert Bergstadt on December 24, 2012 at Walt Disney World in Florida and they were together for 20 years.  She was a V.P. at Bob's Antique Auto Parts.  She enjoyed car shows, vacations to Universal Studios and Walt Disney World in Florida, puzzles, games, holiday crafts with her husband (baking cookies and decorating, etc.), coloring, and spending time outdoors.  

She is survived by her husband, Robert A. Bergstadt; mother, Pam Delong; sons, Robert, Curtis and Zack; step-daughter, Jacqueline; grandchildren, Robert, Jr., Cheyenne Rylan, Jacxson, McKylee, Iris, Hailey, Abbi, Caleb, Gage and Bentley; and newly expected great-grandson, Michael, coming in December.  Also survived by her sisters, Donna Jacobson and Amanda Crosby; brothers, Don Butz and Danny Butz; nephews, Brent Christopher, Danny, Jr., Austin, Kameron and Justin; nieces, Kaylyn, Destiny and Kalie; and her dogs, Buttercup and Bailey.  Predeceased by her father, Don Butz; step-son, Robert Bergstadt, and beloved dogs, Scoobie and Casper.

A Celebration of Life will be held for friends and family on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Sam’s Restaurant, 1031 Harlem Rd., Machesney Park, IL 61115, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
