Christopher L. Wicker, 54, of Machesney Park, IL passed away on October 6, 2023. He was the son of Richard Wicker Sr. and Cathy Moline. Born on September 2, 1969, in Rockford, IL. Chris worked at Concentric Rockford (formerly John S. Barnes) for over 36 years. Aside from work, Chris had many different hobbies, but by far his favorite was drag racing. He also did love spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. Chris had a love for animals and was a dog guy, he adored his dogs. Chris would pick up a lottery ticket or put some money in the slot machines and seeing if it was his lucky day. He always had some kind of home improvement project going and he loved getting his son involved to help him out. Chris even became fond of cooking meals all thanks to his daughter-in-law, of course. Sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather with his family was something he just loved to do. Chris was a proud Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox fan.
