Christine A. Doyle

Christine Ann Doyle, 81, passed away after a brief illness, surrounded by family at Javon Bea Hospital on January 26, 2023. Christine was born in Rockford, Illinois on November 27, 1941. Christine attended Harlem High School. She was a dedicated housewife and was self-employed as a housekeeper. Christine enjoyed vacationing in Florida, traveling, spending time with family, swimming in her pool, enjoyed reading, music, and loved murder mysteries. Christine spent several years of her life camping in Wisconsin with her husband and family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

Christine is survived by her children, Chuck (Cheryl) Doyle, Patricia Erickson, and Stacy (David) Seitz; grandchildren, Christopher Doyle, Charles “Channing” Doyle, Corey Doyle, Brittney Erickson, Christine Erickson, and Mariah Seitz; great-grandchildren Sofia Cook, Cameron, and Cali Erickson and Logan Doyle; brother, Michael Crozier; sister, Carol (Jerry) Stringer; nieces, Kelly Mercaitis and Tracy Cochran and nephews, Jeff Stringer, Brian, and David Mercaitis. Predeceased by her husband, Charles F. Doyle; parents, Donald Parker Muder and Patricia Gill Crozier; stepmother, Dorothy Muder; sister, Mary Gill Lodin and nephew Bradley Stringer.

Celebration of life for Christine will be at 3:00 PM on February 3, 2023, in Riverside Community Church, 6816 N. 2nd Street, Machesney Park, IL.
