Cheryl A. Mullins

Cheryl A. Mullins, 65, of Machesney Park, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021. She was born on May 18, 1955 in Rockford, Illinois to Robert and Janet (McNeal) Bosselman. Cheryl graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1973.  She married Larry Mullins Jr. on September 4, 1994. Cheryl worked at Zenith Cutter for 24 years. After retiring she worked part time as a lunch aide at Harlem High/Middle Schools. Cheryl was a faithful member of Northeast Christian Church. She enjoyed small cell groups at church and home as well as sharing her faith with others. Cheryl had a passion for writing, painting and drawing. She loved spending time with her family and always put them first.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Mullins, Jr.; children, Todd Kelley and Candice Kelley Murphy (James Rucker); grandchildren, Mackenzie Kelley, Noah Kelley, Caylee Gregor and Madison Murphy; sisters, Beverly Bosselman and Lori (Ronald) Wallis; brothers, Dwight (Connie) Bosselman, Gary (Rosie) Bosselman and Lary Bosselman; nephew, Evan Bosselman; great-nieces, Leyanah Bosselman, Amaya Bosselman; best friend, Nancy LaFranca; aunt, Kathy Johnson; uncle, Dennis (Lou) McNeal and many cousins, friends and her church family. Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Janet Bosselman. 

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Northeast Christian Church, 5651 E. Riverside Blvd., Rockford, IL 61114 with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
