Catherine McGrew

Catherine Darlene McGrew, a resident of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the age of 96. Catherine is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Joel) Stone; two grandchildren, Donald (Janet) Webster, Stephanie (Ken) Jones; great-grandchildren, Samantha (Sean), Floyd (Julia), Catherine (Nick), Cristina; great-great-grandchildren, Addilynn, Caden, Scarlett, Kyzen, Emric; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Catherine’s family would like to thank Hospice for all of their support and assistance.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 1:00-3:00 p.m. on December 13, 2025, at the Lombardi Club, 209 Olive Street, Rockford, IL, 61107.
