Carolyn Kellems Obituary

Carolyn L. Kellems, 78, of Machesney Park passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Born June 28, 1939 in Rockford to Merritt and Ruth (Meyer) Baxter. Married James Kellems June 15, 1957 in Rockford. Carolyn enjoyed crafting, crocheting, knitting, watching Family Feud, the Chicago Cubs, NASCAR, and her dogs. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include children, James (Kathy) Kellems, Darla (Kevin) Lyons; grandchildren, Jimmy, Kristina, Shane, Anne, Richard, Monica, Ashley, Jessica, Randi, Amanda, Samantha, Taylor; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Betty) Baxter; and sister, Clarene Moser. Predeceased by husband; and children, Eugene, and Marcia.

Celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2018 in the Eagles Club, 3829 11th Street, Rockford, 61109.
