Carolyn Sue Huffman

Carolyn Sue “Susie” “Gramcracker” Huffman, 62, of Beloit, WI passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 in Beloit Memorial Hospital. Born July 15, 1957 in Rockford, IL the daughter of Marlene Wiedenhoefer and Wilburn B. Huffman. Carolyn enjoyed baking, American Indians, wolves, walks by the river, being in nature and her cats.

Survivors include children, Korey (Jaqueline) Merkel, Nakisha (James) Hunt; grandchildren, Nicole Merkel, Allison Monroe, Nathan Hunt, Jacob Merkel, Alec Wight; sister, Debra Naill; step-brothers; step-sister; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by mother, Marlene Turnure; step-father, Lloyd Turnure; father, Wilburn B. Huffman; sister, Sandra Foster; and brother, “Billy” Huffman.

Walk-through visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2020 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to be used in Carolyn’s name at a later date. Masks are suggested.
