Caroline Margaret Tracy, 53, of Roscoe passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2025, surrounded by her family. She went to high school at Downers Grove North High, class of 1989, and moved on to the University of Missouri, where she majored in physical therapy. She worked as a physical therapist prior to marriage in the Chicago suburbs. Later in life, she began a career as a financial advisor at Edward Jones investments, where she achieved much success in a short time.
As a young woman, Caroline was an all-state cross country and track runner in high school. As she raised a family, she developed a love for the outdoors and going for long walks. Her greatest theme and passion in life was adoring her six children, and spending time with family. At the center of everything was her love for Christ.
Survived by her father, Steve Tracy; the six children she raised along with their father, Eric Rukin, during their marriage, Abraham, Jese, Jubilee, Isaac, Sam, and Naomi; brothers, Scott Tracy and Ken Tracy; and fur babies, Vixie and Georgie. Predeceased by her mother, Meg Tracy, and her brother, Steve Tracy.
The family would like to wish a special thanks to Janice Buerkle, a dear friend who provided her experienced guidance on caregiving to us the last week of Caroline‘s life.
