Carol L. Hladilek

Carol Lois Fails Hladilek, 93, of Roscoe passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, peacefully in her home.  She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 12, 1930, the daughter of LeRoy and Agnes Fails.  Married Donald Hladilek in West Allis, Wisconsin in 1951.

She is survived by her son, Daniel (Nancy) Hladilek; daughters, Diane (Steve) Erickson, Kay (Bobby) Mullins, Jill Correll, Lin (Brent) Miller, Ellen (Ralph) Fessenden, Jan (Jim) Britt, and Julie (Michael) Peters; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded by her husband, Donald Hladilek; her parents, LeRoy and Agnes Fails; sister, Audrey; brothers, James and Glen (Buddy); grandson, Richard Heidenrich; and son-in-law, Don Correll.

Visitation will be from 10:30am to 12:00pm on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe, IL 61073 followed by a gathering and luncheon at 12:30pm at Roscoe Firehouse Pub, 10670 Main Street, Roscoe.  Private burial in Roscoe Cemetery, Roscoe.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Harlem-Roscoe Fire Department.
