Brad H. Lundahl

Brad H. Lundahl, 69, of Rockford, was welcomed into Heaven by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.  He was born in Rockford on September 19, 1955 to William and Joan (Hoffman) Lundahl.  He graduated from Guilford High School, Class of 1973 and had some college at Rock Valley, both in Rockford; he married Nancy (Moeller) Jefko in 1991.

Brad worked at Aunt Mary's Restaurant in Rockford and Cracker Barrel in Madison, WI, where he was the Lead Cook for several years.  Brad retired last year from Colorlab Custom Cosmetics in Rockford where he worked for 20+ years.  Brad was an avid golfer in his younger years.  He loved his Chicago Bears, White Sox and Blackhawks.  His favorite hobby was taking care of his yard.  He loved all facets, from weeding, fertilizing, and especially mowing.  With headphones on, he would listen to the White Sox or KLOVE Christian Radio.

Many thanks to Dr. Nameer Mardini, Rockford and Dr. Jeremy Kratz, Madison, both of UW Carbone Cancer Center.  They were always very kind to Brad throughout the five years of chemo and followed by three different trial drugs.  He was extremely thrilled that one of the trials he participated in has now been approved and available to other cancer patients.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lundahl; daughter, Michelle Lundahl; sister, Lea Brookman; and nephews, Tyler and Michael Brookman.  Predeceased by his parents and sister, Jan Lundahl.

Celebration of Life will be at 11:00am with a visitation from 9:30am until the service, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 in City First Chapel, 5950 Spring Creek Road, Rockford, IL 61114.
