Beverly Hemphill

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Ann Hemphill. She was born October 9, 1936. She passed away at home surrounded by her family on May 7, 2025.

Beverly retired as a cook from River Oaks Retirement Home. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, especially her grandchildren and their school events. She loved her family more than anything. In her later years, she really enjoyed doing word search puzzles.

Beverly is survived by her son, Curtis Dean Hemphill; grandchildren, Kyle Dean (Courtney) Hemphill and Amber Lynn Hemphill; great-grandchild, Harper Lynn; sister, Susan Kay Thon. Predeceased by her husband, Beryl Hemphill; parents, Wilmar and Myrtle (Lovick) Kleinert.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory–Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL, 61111, at 12:00 PM with a memorial visitation starting at 11:00 AM until time of service. We will be celebrating the lives of both Beverly and her husband, Beryl.
