Betty Valenzo Obituary

Betty Jane Valenzo, 85, of Belvidere passed away Monday, April 30, 2018. Born November 15, 1932 in Chicago, the daughter of Sheldon and Muriel (Murfay) Peterson. Married Samuel Valenzo, Jr. on June 15, 1959 in Chicago. Betty enjoyed playing cards and cooking for her family. She loved helping others, and always put others before herself. Betty took the time to remember anniversaries, birthdays and other important events and made sure to call or send a card on those special days. She will greatly be missed.

Survivors include daughters, Pam (Rick) Wilocki, Gloria Valenzo; grandsons, Nicholas Wilocki, David Wilocki; and sister, Marilyn Budreau. Predeceased by husband, Samuel.

Private graveside services will be held.
