Betty L. Lundstrom (Frink/Harris), 93, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020. Betty was born March 7, 1927 in Rockford, IL, daughter to George A. and Margaritte (Palmer) Frink. Betty was a graduate of West High, Rockford, class of 1945. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, and her and Vern loved traveling around the country seeing all the sites. Married to William H. Harris February 4, 1946 and married to A.L. LaVerne Lundstrom March 31, 1973. She retired from Warner Lambert in October of 1987 and worked part time at Rockford Memorial Hospital along with Vern until 1996. Betty was a member of First Convenant Church for many years and then Riverside Community Church.
Survivors include children, Louis E. Harris, Dennis D. Harris (Sherry), William M. Harris, Susan T Darnell (Harris), Judith E. Edwards (Lundstrom), John L. Lundstrom (Diane), Gust A. Lundstrom (Melva); sisters, Beverly Real (Frink), Carol Forbes (Frink); brothers, Richard Frink (Leila), Gerald A. Frink; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by parents; husbands, A.L. Lundstrom and William H. Harris; daughter, Karen L. Meath (Harris); son-in-law, Harry E. Darnell; sister, Charlotte Wilder (Frink); and grandson, Holden Lundstrom.
Due to the Covid situation funeral and visitation are limited to only immediate family members and very close friends. Funeral service will be at 11:00am with a walk-through visitation from 10:00am until the service on Friday, July 24, 2020 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park. Pastor Anthony Maynard will officiate. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. Masks are required and please follow social distancing guidelines.
