Betty Holt Obituary
Betty Holt, 89, of Rockford, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023. She was born in Rock Port, Missouri on September 12, 1933 to John and Earline (Hall) Easley.
In 1952, Betty married Albert Holt in West Plains, Missouri. The couple enjoyed 67 years together, living the majority of their marriage in Rochelle and Rockford, Illinois. Together, they were devoted parents, grandparents, relatives, friends and neighbors.
She was a gifted quilter and decorator, always making her corner of the world beautiful. She was a devout member of the Church of Christ.
Betty is predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Albert, in 2020. She is survived by her son, Michael Holt; her daughter, Jean (Michael); her cherished grandchildren, Julia and Jamison; and her beloved sister, Neita Brown.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery, 6202 Charles Street, Rockford, Illinois 61108.
