Bette C. Patterson

Bette Coleen Patterson, 98, of Rockford, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 2, 2025.  She was born in Rockford on May 15, 1927 to Silvio and Stella Balestri.  She graduated from East High School at the age of 16 and worked in the banking business for 46 years.  She had a deep love for animals and nature.  She was an avid golfer and followed the sport her whole life.

She is survived by her son, Tom (Barbara) Montgomery; granddaughter, Nicole (Eric) Pohl; numerous nieces and nephews; and her cat, Lucy.  Predeceased by her parents; brother, Nelso Balestri; sisters, Mae Ingram and Leona Tindell.
