Antonio M. DaPonte

Antonio (Tony) DaPonte of Rockford, IL, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 18, 2024. He married Amy DaPonte on August 30, 2014 and they will have their ten year wedding anniversary on August 30, 2024. Tony was the proud owner of A1 Remodeling Pros and A1 Investment Properties. He enjoyed golf, riding his Harley, and being with family.

Tony is survived by his wife, Amy DaPonte; mother in law, Mary Hagemann; children, son, Austin DaPonte (Chloe LaRose), daughter, Meaghan DaPonte (Charlotte Hamer), daughter, Kristin (Keehan) Arruda, and daughter, Morgan (Ned) Kirk; grandchildren, Mae Rian DaPonte, Magnolia DaPonte, Chandler DaPonte, Amelia DaPonte, Maddox Arruda, Saylor Arruda, Olivia Kirk and Caleb Kirk; sisters and brothers, Adriana (Antonio) Freitas, Carrie (Gerald) Dray, Todd (Theresa) Mizner, Charlie (Becky) Tucker, Connie (Gene) Nelson, Tina Chatman and Roger Tucker; his pet, Winston DaPonte; nieces and nephews, Chantel Freitas (Dylan Moura), Nathan Freitas, Aaron DaPonte, Haliee DaPonte, Tyler (Holly) Dray, Lindsay (Jonathan) Welch, Jake Dray, Tanner (Samantha) Dray, Conner (Mica) Dray, Olivia (Logan) Casteel, Gaby (Jacob) Welch, Ross Dray, Grant Dray, Cody Mizner, and Maggie (Cameron) DesRoberts. He also leaves behind 22 great-nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by, late son of mom, Lucia Dacosta and dad, Antonio DaPonte; late brother, of Steven DaPonte and living wife Ana DaPonte. 

Service will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 30, 2024 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel-4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park with a visitation from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
