Angelo C. Torre, Sr.

Angelo Carmelo Torre, Sr., 87, of Rockford, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019. Angelo was born in Milwaukee on June 4, 1931 to Stephen and Anna Torre.

Survivors include sisters, Helen and Gloria; children, Monica (Steve), Angelo Jr., Jude (Jill), and Stephen (Angie); grandchildren, Angelo, Kristen, Kevin, Jillian, Carly, Olivia, McKinley, and Amelia; great-grandchildren, Valentino, Tyler, Kyle, Alyssa, Kelly, and Malcolm, who will all remember him lovingly. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Peter, Tom, Carl, Frances, Rose, and Theresa, wife and mother of his children, Rosella; wife, JoAnn; daughter, Marcie. 

Angelo’s family would like to thank the staff and residents at Heritage Woods of Belvidere for taking such good care of him during the last years of his life. In remembrance of Angelo, there will be an open house memorial at Heritage Woods of Belvidere, 4730 Squaw Prairie Rd., Belvidere, Illinois 61008, on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
