Andrea Lynn Lego

Andrea Lynn Lego, 68, of Rockford went to be with her Lord Jesus on September 29, 2021. Born March 2, 1953 in Versailles, MO. Andrea was a woman of strong faith, devoted love and a heart that never gave up on the ones she loved. She married her sweetheart, Glenn Lego, in December 1974 after meeting at a bible study in early summer that same year. Despite life and hardships, the couple remained true to their vows to her passing.

Andrea lived to prove her faith and show the world the evidence of Christ. One of her favorite Bible verses was 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 which reads, “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up. Never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” She really did her best to bring this verse to life.

She will be honored and missed by her husband, Glenn Lego; children, Jonathan Lego, Brian Lego, Melissa (Matthew) Jones; grandchildren, Olivia Jones, Emma Lego, Raichel Lego, Miranda Jones, Cecilia Jones, Elyssa Jones; mother, Rosemary (Mancil “Mac”) Morrison; and brothers, Vincel, James and Daniel Burkhart and their families. Predeceased by brother, Mark Burkhart and father, Hubert “Cap” Burkhart.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 8, 2021 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Private burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carroll. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association for research.
