Alfred H. Jorgenson Jr.

Alfred H. Jorgenson Jr. 83, of Rockford passed away December 14, 2024. Born on June 9, 1941 in Knapp, Wisconsin the son of Alfred and Florence (Middlestead) Jorgenson Sr. He met the love of his life, Ann at a social gathering and together they were married for 65 years. He worked for Chrysler Corporation for 30 years. Alfred loved hot rod cars, you could always find him under a car or working on something, he was quite the handyman. He shared his love for hot rods with his children, grandchildren and siblings. He dedicated countless hours to restoring, customizing, and driving hot rods.

Survivors include his wife, Ann; children, Bill (Laurie) Jorgenson, Brenda (Bill) Herlugdon, Dennis (Lisa) Jorgenson and Linda (Jim) Chamberlain; grandchildren, Brandon, Brian, Allan, Karla, Sharon, Josh, Brad and Amy; sister, Shirley Brantner; brother, Bobby Jorgenson, 12 great grandchildren and many special family and friends. Predeceased by his parents, and brother, Bill Jorgenson.

A Celebration of Life will be held January 11, 2025 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
