Vicki M. Shott, 59, of Roscoe, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Born in Rockford on September 29, 1959 to Lloyd and Shirley (Rognas) Mussigman. Vicki was a loving mother and grandmother. She found joy in always searching for the perfect little trinket for everyone. She was a former paralegal who loved to read, cook, bake, garden and do crossword puzzles. Vicki was very active in her church; she was a Eucharistic Minister and also taught Catechism for over 20 years. She was a Mary Kay consultant and also volunteered for hospice and Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful.
Vicki is survived by her mother, Shirley Brodd; son, Gregory Shott; daughters, Tania (Andrew) Whitfield and Rachel (Zach) Reese; grandchildren, Annelise, Harrison and Lydia Whitfield; brothers, Steve (Trudy) Mussigman, Bruce (Marisa) Mussigman and Mark Mussigman; sisters, Lori (Michael) Harris and Linda (Michael) Westholder. Predeceased by her father, Lloyd Mussigman; husband, Paul Shott; and step-father, Loren Brodd.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in St. Peter Catholic Church, 620 Blackhawk Boulevard, South Beloit, IL 61080. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, February 27, in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
