Thomas W. Roberts

Thomas W. Roberts, 53, of Rockford, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017. He was born on December 6, 1963 in Rockford to Thomas Dwane Roberts and Esta (Fultz) Hunt. Thomas enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping and being outdoors. He enjoyed working on cars and playing video games. He enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams, The Bears and The Cubs.  Above all he loved spending time with his family and friends and pursuing a closer relationship with the Lord. 

Tom is survived by his mother, Esta (Ron) Hunt of Rockford; step-father, Paul Akins of Rockford; sister, Lori Bloom of Sparta, WI; son, Thomas (Amanda) Roberts of Rockford; daughter, Samantha (Andrew) Roberts of Rockford; uncles, Lloyd (Brenda) Fultz of Rockford, Ernie (Missy) Fultz of Nashville, TN, Roy Fultz, Niles, OH; niece, Tiffany (Jason) Arnold, of Sparta, WI; nephew, B.J. Bloom of Appleton, WI.; six grandchildren, Isiah, Max, Noah, Amyla, Aniya and Jasiah. Predeceased by his father, Thomas Dwane Roberts.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, 61111. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Rock Church, 6732 Harrison Ave., Rockford, 61108 with Pastor Jared Katke officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the family, care of Esta Hunt.
