Thomas Carter

Thomas "Tom" Nelson Carter, Jr., 71, of Rockford, IL passed away Friday, December 28, 2018. Born April 5, 1947 in Rockford, IL to Thomas Sr. and Geraldine (Van Nocker) Carter. Tom was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed karaoke, playing guitar, old country music, the Green Bay Packers, playing card games, and enjoying the lovely gardens of his partner, Christine (Chris) Adams.
 

Survivors include significant other and life partner of 24 years, Christine Adams; sister, Nancy Carter; brother, Andrew (Gail) Carter. Predeceased by his parents.
 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 3829 11th St., Rockford, IL.
Cremation services are being provided by Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory.
