Theresa Ann Bradbury

Theresa Anne Bradbury, 86, of Rockford, passed away into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, August 10, 2017 in River Bluff Nursing Home, Rockford.  Born in Ottawa, IL on August 20, 1930 to George Dewey West and Florence Evelyn (Ballard) West.  She married Kenneth Bradbury who predeceased her.  Theresa was a school monitor for many years at Kishwaukee Baptist School and also worked as a housekeeper at Presence Cor Mariae.  She was a member of Kishwaukee Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years.  She loved children and enjoyed reading and playing the piano by ear.

She is survived by her daughters, Heather (Douglas) Pixler and Holly Bradbury; grandchildren, Jared Pixler and Abigail Pixler; brothers, Dallas (Shirley) West and Gary (Jean) West; sisters, Elaine Davison and Darlene Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents; husband; son, Kent Bradbury and several brothers and sisters.  Special thank you to  the staff at River Bluff Nursing Home and Heartland Hospice for their special care.  Memorials to Gideon's International.
