Ted W. Tackeberry

Ted W. Tackeberry, 71, of Loves Park, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019. He was born on January 16, 1948 in Rockford to Paul and Margy (Black) Tackeberry. Ted married Karen Norup on October 24, 1970 in Byron. Ted had a passion for working on American muscle cars and loved Corvettes. He was a man devoted to family and friends. 

Survivors include his wife, Karen Tackeberry; children, Paul (Carma) Tackeberry, Ted (Kari) Tackeberry Jr., Ken (Jen) Tackeberry, Sara (Robert) Shrout, James (Lindsey) Tackeberry and Jon (Betty) Lerch; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Pat (Jason) Vanatter. Predeceased by his parents. 

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at North Love Baptist Church, 5301 E. Riverside Blvd., Rockford, Illinois 61114 with visitation from 5:00 p.m. until time of service.
