Tamara B. Prenot

Tamara B. Prenot, 49, of Rockford, went home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2019. She was born on October 2, 1969 in Rockford to Ralph and Diane (Nash) Prenot. She was a lifelong Rockford resident. She was married to Clint Allen from 1988 to 1992. Tamara was baptized on October 16, 1977 at First Assembly of God Church. She was a dedicated Christian and loved the Lord. Tamara had a passion for sewing and was a very talented seamstress, as well as doing hair, makeup and nails. She also loved to design and make clothes. She was very artistic and enjoyed interior design and decorating. Tamara loved movies and television. She loved to talk, make people laugh and enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Rhys. 

Survivors include her father, Ralph Prenot; son, Nicholas (Ashley Falzone) Allen; grandchildren, Evangelina and Kashton Allen; sisters, Trudy (Ron) Clark and Tricia Prenot; brothers, Barry Smith, Jay Prenot and Jeff Hommon; nephews, Curtis Clark, Vince Sartino, Anthony Prenot, Tyler Prenot, Matthew Smith, Adam Smith and C.J. Prenot; grandmother, Jane Prenot. Predeceased by her mother, Diane Prenot; previous husband, Clint Allen; soulmate, Jeremi Marren; niece, Christina Clark; grandfather, Ralph (Ike) Prenot, Sr.

Tamara was a wonderful daughter, sister, mom, aunt and grandma. She was loved very much and will be greatly missed. 

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel. 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, Illinois 61111 with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family.
