Stephen W. Bean

Stephen W. Bean, 48, of Rockford, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019. He was born on October 25, 1970 in Rockford to Richard Bean and Patricia Meyer. Stephen was an avid Kentucky Wildcats, Chicago Bears, Bulls and White Sox fan. He also enjoyed watching Nascar. 

Survivors include his parents, Richard (Cheryl) Bean and Patricia (Greg) Lupa; children, Amber and Brayden Bean; granddaughter, Ava Bean; siblings, Angie Lampe-Mapel, Scott (Julie) Bean, Becky Johnson and Kyah Bean; nieces and nephews, Tony (Nicky Sims) Lampe, Matthew Lampe, Breanna Lampe, Nicholas Mapel, Ethan Mapel, Sheldon Bean, Gage Bean, Anthony Rogers and Keyonte Rogers; great-nephews, Mason and Duncan Lampe; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by maternal grandparents, paternal grandmother and several aunts and uncles. 

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the White Eagles Club, 235 15th Ave., Rockford, Illinois 61104. Private family memorial will be held at a later date.
