Sherry L. Sanches

Sherry Lynn Sanches, 68, peacefully passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 in Rockford, IL and has gone home to be with her son, Jeffrey and parents, Russ and Shirley.  She was born to the late Russ Olson and Shirley Olson on May 18, 1949.

For most of her life Sherry was a homemaker and also retired from Latham Tap.  Sherry was very passionate and truly enjoyed all of her friends and family.  Sherry enjoyed traveling and loved visiting her granddaughters, Paige and Brooke, in Scottsdale.  Sherry was also a fabulous mother to her two sons, Bob and Jeff, and created very special memories for her sons throughout her life.    

She is survived by her son, Bob (Shelly) Sanches; granddaughters, Paige and Brooke Sanches; sister, Ginger Quist; brother, Rusty (Janice) Olson; many friends; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Kit Ruvolo and Deb Traver who she loved and who will miss her dearly. 

Friends and relatives may visit from 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park followed by celebration of life service at 4:00 p.m.
