Sharon Owens

Sharon Owens, 65, of Rockford, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018. She was born on April 9, 1953 in Massachusetts. She married Michael K. Owens on July 1, 2000 in Rockford. Sharon had a life long love for the fabric arts. She enjoyed her children's classes with "Kids Can Sew". She owned Fast Frame Custom Picture Framing of Rockford and managed several high end sewing machine outlets in the Rockford and Madison area. 

Survivors include her husband, Michael; sons, Jason Owens and Justin Spandikow; daughter, Jennifer Wallis and the most important man in her life, her cat, Shadow. 

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, Illinois 61111. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary Inc., 111 N. 1st St., Rockford, Illinois 61107 or the Center for Sight & Hearing, 8038 MacIntosh Ln., Rockford, Illinois 61107.
