Salvador Guerrero–Herrera, 64, of Rockford passed away Monday, March 12, 2018. Born January 31, 1954 in Mexico to Narcizo Guerrero and Raquel Herrera. Married Guillermina Carreno February of 1973.

Survivors include children, Veronica (Jose) Cardenas, Fernando (Veronica) Guerrero, Raquel (Oscar) Montoya; grandchildren, Carmen, Juan, Saya, Yayra Cardenas, Lesly, Brianna, Lizandro Montoya, Vickie, Fernando, Aviana, Favian Guerrero; sisters, Raquel, M. Lourdes, Maricela; and brothers, J. Antonio, Jose, and Samuel. Predeceased by wife, Guillermina; sons, Juan Manuel, Jose Guadalupe, Jose Antonio; brother, Fernando; and sisters, Esther, and Josefina.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 in St. Edward Catholic Church, 3026 11th Street, Rockford. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park.
